She can play anything. She regularly goes on tour with Tommy Emanuelle or on her own.

This is nice.

While we're at it, this is a savage rendition, played in his standard, radically unorthodox fashion. Geez I didnt know he had passed on.

I recall he had a piece of carpet that his chair sat on and that was how he'd find his way back to sitting down when he'd get up and go crazy. At one point I remember he smashed his head off a cymbal and didn't even miss a note. Highly energetic performer for a blind guy.

Clearly a guitar virtuoso. Nice to hear he puts on a great show.

I've never seen guitar live like that by anyone else. Song after song after song of masterful playing. He would play the guitar in all sorts of different positions too, like up and over and behind his head and stuff. Seemed like a real genuine individual too if it's possible to get that vibe from a live performer. Real down to earth.

Justin, it's totally possible to get that vibe at a live performance through both performance and body language.

I have watched people I know are really great face to face, but can put off quite stand-offish performances though...

I actually always liked Healy's vocals more than his guitar (which is great also). Never did catch him live.

This could be possibly my all time favourite live guitar performance ever.

 Haven't seen that one before.

listening to Stevie or Johnny Winter is about the only time I miss playing in a blues band.

Don't think Ive ever heard the entire song, before now.

Is it possible the lyrics transcriber did not stick a fork in his eye when he finished this?

A well a everybody's heard about the bird
B-b-b bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word

A well a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word
A well a bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word
A well a bird, bird, b-bird's the word

A well a don't you know about the bird?
Well, everybody knows that the bird is the word!
A well a bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a

A well a everybody's heard about the bird
Bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, b-bird's the word

A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
A well a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word

That was beautiful!

I knew virtually everything up to about 1945 and almost nothing after that.
