The chair back being ninety degrees perpendicular from the floor, it would tend to dig into your back at the top edge, and likely most uncomfortable if a hard material. Good and interesting design doesn't always equate with comfort though.

My daughter just sent me this picture of her latest school project. She's majoring in architecture and this was for her studio design class.
