Never heard of this fellow before but after a few minutes of digging, he seems to have been an important cat for a lot of folks:

Mom passed at 02:16 this morning after a 30-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Funeral is Friday. I've always felt like I had to live with my cell phone because I was the "I've fallen and I can't get up" person to call.

It's a little odd now, there isn't a reason to make sure the phone is within reach 24-hours a day.

I put her in the hospital November 11th with plans to transition her to a nursing home. She continued to get worse and passed before I had to tell her about the transition.

A year ago, she was still living independently in her own home, driving a van from her wheelchair with hand controls, taking herself to the grocery store, beauty shop, dr.'s appts, etc. She went downhill fast the last few months.

She fought a good fight.
