O.C.G.D. Thread, part two

Got my new ramps in today, 12' long, rated to 12klbs/axle, 20klbs on rubber tracks, 102lbs each.

By comparison my old ramps were 10' long, ~5klbs per axle, and 250lbs each!

Haha the boy can lift one end, although walking would be tough (he weighs 56lbs). I've seen him dead lift just under 70lbs with one hand.

Yep, discountramps.com.

Upgraded the larger stumper today. I'm going to miss the old tow behind vermeer.

Great looking machine, how many hp's?

Are you a "Carlton guy" or is this your first one?

Is that a remote controlled machine or do you stand by it.

Cory, it has a 66hp kubota motor. I traded in our old vermeer 665b that my dad had bought brand new in 95'. That machine had a bigger motor but I was tired of dumping money into it. I really like what Carlton has out there now, and I have had good luck with our smaller Carlton with a 27hp Kohler. We have a great dealer in Alexander Equipment which is really important to me too, I can't say enough good things about them.

Good luck with the new gear, Fred. A machine like that must make a boring job less so, or maybe more boring done in a day.
