So I don’t know if this is a joke but I found it funny.
I was collecting a check from a property manager and we were having a beer and burning some brush. He goes over to his truck all proud of his saw and expounding on how much wood he has cut. I look at the saw and see it’s easily the original bar on a Husky 51 he bought new. I say to him how much wood have you been cutting? He says TONS! I cleared my whole lot with that saw! And I say oh one whole lot. My guy and I laugh and laughed.

I cleared cross-country power-line right-a-way (12KV distribution) for 18 years on the coastal slopes, and burned on average 2 gal. of saw mix a day.
The 1101 north circuit, with taps, was about 45 miles long, and it averaged 70 feet wide. I cleared it, to the ground, twice. The first time through took about 6 years. The second time took only 2 years.
