North Central Montana, bloody cold!
August 5th was my parents 50th anniversary. Pretty cool deal.

They said they have been celebrating for the 50 days previous and will continue to celebrate for 50 days after.

We cooked steaks the day after up at there house. Just my crew and them.

Here is a picture of them at a family reunion last week. The others in the family made a nice announcement at the dinner the first night.

Pretty accurate.

Funny to think of what may have been with them. Dad was studying accountancy and mechanical engineering and mom was studying business.

Mom worked for a bank and later for a lawyer for a while and Dad went to OCS and later Jump School at Fort Benning.

Dad was going to Vietnam with an Armored Calvary outfit as a First Lieutenant and Mom was going to stay home and work at the bank.

Then they bought a farm and here we are today!

Awesome Jim, thanks for sharing

Some good folks right there and they brought you up right!

Jim, hows Lil' Richard boy doing??

I guess we were lucky, never had the terrible twos, but having only one child reduces the odds I guess. I see kids throwing tantrums and think, now how would I handle that. Love conquers all i guess, including a good smack in the rear at just the right time.
