How do you guys carry these to the job site? We've always just tossed them in the back of the truck but they tend to get a little abused that way. Been thinking about a way to carry them on the chipper but wanted to see what you folks are doing.
 
Right now mine goes in the truck every morning and out at night. It travels with a scabbard on bar and chain and a soft cooler protecting the engine.
 
If you stuff your power pole in the back of a chip truck regularly. A helmet cover is great for covering the powerhead atleast.
 
Glad you asked that question, Willie...I am setting up a new (to me) trailer and have been wondering how to secure long things like that.

25 pounds, my poles are 15, might be worth a try, thanks
 
Transportation grade might mean something about that they are legal to hold shovels, etc on the outside of a rig.
