I shared some of the pictures we took recent of a job we did with a big ol dead tree on a slope above the hwy near us. Well, the HOs took pictures and sent me a nice thank you note and a disk of pictures. Thought I might share some with you. Had some rigging involved due to the house and hwy proximity. Along with just clean up logistics.
Hope you might enjoy these. Fun job.

Nice to have the chippah close by... Large limbs made for a lot of chop chop.

Then it was time to block this ol feller down.... Took it down to 55' to make it fit. Logs were swung/drifted over to the landing with the mini.

Cool pics, thoughtful of the owner. Pretty good sized tree, no place to just flop it?

There was a highway and road below, house up hill, house diagonal up hill, power lines up hill. Cross slope log could roll down to the all year Yosemite Highway... Mini could not navigate the slope to pull the brush or logs up hill... Easier to just swing the material or zip line it to the level spot

Thanks for sharing!!!

The pig was about 120ishish..
Almost 60" DBH
The Dingo is a life saver!

Great job, what a tree. I like the HO pics, they did a good job documenting the process, it must have been an expensive removal!8)

1.5 days with the crew on that one tree. Chip dump site close by made turn around quick. Deck logs on property. Burn duff on site. :)

Next tree was next to the house and I needed a gin pole to drift and load share the rigging with, swing the wood off the house. Not my more desired tree close, dead and had a sway in it. Just needed to cut small. I could strip and bomb most the trees on the side of the house.
Got started....
I set a remote block from the ground on the mostly live tree so I could just get to lowering limbs down...

Nope, they loaded two different muttled... Oh well...
They sent me over 500 pictures... I will resume going through them and editing tomorrow..

Man that Wraptor has seen some use! Stephen I am really impressed with how you have evolved as a business owner.. hope you are making good coin on these jobs

Great documentation of impressive work.

What about trees that are too far gone to climb and rig? Many of these yet? Do other outfits pass on them and folks call you to do the more dangerous ones?

Sweet action! I think you could really benefit from an Atom Splitter on your dingo to bust down those biggins like that or crib a page from FOGTW and use a bottle jack. I am sure the mills are screaming mercy right now. That beast would have made some fine slabs!
You guys out there have to be balls deep in logs.
