Hahaha...Jim wondered WTH he was doing? Cory guided me over here. Yes, it is a type of yogic breathing...some call it "fire breathing." It is a type of pranayama, specialized breathing. The site below talks about it...it is also good for massaging the internal organs.

And this kind of "belly churning" or stomach lifting is good for internal massage....lots of videos of this out there...it is called "nauli"

Is it learnable by most anyone? Or is it more like the idea some people can roll their tongue and some just can't??

I can get some up and down rolling but nothing side to side.

I'm going to get back to the coast one day too. Tsunami, hurricanes, everything rusts in ten minutes.... Sunsets can be nice though.
