North Central Montana, bloody cold!
Its been a strange year. Pretty devastating for our business. Gonna be several years trying to dig out of this hole.

My kids are healthy, wife survived a bad accident, got some new puppies, wife's father is here, my folks are well.

Got a roof and plenty of food. Nothing to complain about!

Happy Thanksgiving to my friends here at the TreeHouse! Hope you folks can find something to be thankful for.

Thanks, Jim...glad your world is reasonable. Similar here...grandkids, wife, kids, folks, family doing reasonably well at the moment. Youngest brother (now 46) finally out of federal prison, spent about a month in a half-way house and now living at home with my parents as he finishes transition to normal society. He had a 10 year sentence for drugs...he put two people together across state lines as part of a deal and it became a federal problem. We are hoping he has learned his lesson...seems to have so far, good attitude.

Lindsay and I take T'giving to him at Mom's today...Mom and Dad are at the family farm in S. GA with her farm relatives. We'll share the day with Todd and I'll make him go enjoy my bamboo grove that is on the property with me. :D

Lindsay cooked last night, got up early this AM and got stuff going in the oven...she is back in bed now.

Women are really hard workers!

My best to all.

Yeppie, life's good here for the most part too. Sis in law and her family are here for the week and some real good friends are up from Cali, should be a great few days. Best to all you folks!

Thanksgiving seems to be about the only American holiday we haven't imported yet............Now we've even got Black friday.

Good to hear you've all got something to be thankful for.
As for me, I'm alive:)

Thanks Jim. Family, kids and puppies sounds like a good day.

Hope the best for your Brother and a smooth transition Gary. I have a few good friends who've spent about that amount of time "away". Hopefully he can escape the bitterness some acquire that can come from viewing it as time stolen or lost.

Stig, ditto what Gary wrote.

Don't really do holidays here. Family is mostly passed on and Sister is gone socialising. Neighbors are out of town also, so Otis & I are house sitting/watch dogging the neighborhood.

I'll go along with having kind of a strange year...been quite a few things changed. I'm warm. dry, vertical, and relatively happy.

"May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy. Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious, And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs!"

Wishing everyone here an enjoyable and safe Thanksgiving.

Haha, will do! He gets plenty of those...He keeps improving and turning into a better adjusted animal at his meandering terrier pace. Getting a little more confident on a near daily basis. We'll be going back to walks in the pet store in the City and some more training classes over the Winter. Not so much to have a trainer teach me how to teach him, but more for the socialization thing, and something for us to do out away from the property together.

Happy Thanksgiving all you crazy Americans! Late to the party as always, thanksgiving is long over up here.

I'm thankful that I'm 60 frigging years old, mostly healthy and still above ground.

Had I have known I would live this long I'd have taken better care of myself...

Is that corn pudding on the right Jim? That's my favorite part of the meal. Then the onions, then pie.

My brother decided to fish a bit today after we ate Lindsay's fine fixings. Drought here is pretty bad but the pond still holds a lunker!

It was fine .Georgia is out of the hospital .So far she's on the mend from a low level of hemoglobin .Her color is back and almost all the symptoms are gone .
I'm still in a quandary of how a large metro area like Toledo Ohio missed it and a little cow town of 40 thousand found it. So much for the benefits of large medicine .If she had not insisted something was wrong with her and not have sought other means of doctors etc ,it was so low it could have killed her in time .

I made the dinner, turkey breast ,baked potatoes .Even made her some candied yams of which I ate one little piece.
