A couple small lodgepole pines uprooted in the 10/14 wind storm. Steep driveway meant no crane access. Luckily, there was a well placed pine behind the failures large enough to use for rigging, but kind of small, so we didn't attach the GRCS . Instead, 5-1 mechanical advantage from a set of fiddle blocks provided all the lift we needed. Finished in the near dark, as this was the second job of the day.

Interesting.
I don't dare to lower a tree /trunk with a guy line and porty like you did for the right one. I'm afraid of the exponential load when it comes near the ground.
