Being a SPRAT Technician as well as an arborist, I am always fascinated by other rope disciplines and the work that they do. Here is a good video from some of the Petzl guys.

Those climbing techniques are intimidating! Way beyond beyond my knowledge / skill set

Whole other set of climbing skills. I learned years ago that the tree climbing/SPRAT techniques do not mesh together. When I got certified in SPRAT, I HAD to not think like a tree worker. At first, I tried to cross-engineer the techniques and even some of the knots and pissed my instructors off to no end.
