Anyone have any experience or advice on where I could look for a hydraulic leak that is occurring on top of the pedestal on a Versalift VO-32. So far we have cleaned the entire area and looked to see if a hose or fitting was cracked or damaged in that area, but no luck. Whenever we use the boom to the side of the truck centerline we are getting pools of oil on the floor of the truck and the top of the pedestal, but we have not been able to find the leak.

Leaks on hoses inside the boom are a pain to find. Also check the rotational gearbox motor. The seal on the end of the shaft can go bad. Good luck to you and hope you find it before something blows and makes a hell of a mess

Welcome to the TreeHouse, aaknj. Do you have a more human-like first name we could use? Mine is Butch.

Can try power clean well, spray with aerosol talc based foot powder to try to trap oil in 1 place when leaks to id;
can also try to block air blowing to area best as can during test.
