Very nicely done Reg. What size were the side tensioning "guy" lines and what did you use to pull the stem over, your Portable Winch? Thanks for sharing your work.

Steep ground creates lots of challenge. I live in an area not noted for hills/steepness but of course there are some here and there, it's not flat. A few years ago, a guy working for a well respected local outfit got killed when a large log rolled over him, his last words were 'I messed up'.

Hi Chris. I had 2 × 3/4 and 1 x 5/8 to hold the trunk. I had a 5:1 to pull it over. I think it was slightly favored anyway, but preloading the 5:1 made sure if it. Thanks
