old saws coming back home from my past

People will still be saying don't buy Chinese, even when the parts they make over there are the standard for what you can get. I've had good luck with some aftermarket parts out of China, a coil was one thing, and a muffler for an old Stihl was particularly well made, all the seams were cleanly done and with the slightly heavier gauge steel, probably better than the original on the saw. Miraculously the bolt holes lined up. Carb rebuild kits are quite alright. The aftermarket stuff or anything else for an international market, as business acumen grows, so will the predictable quality of the merchandise. They have lacked guidance when it comes to manufacturing, but the Chinese also have a long history of not being stupid.

I thought we were talking about aftermarket parts made in Taiwan and China.........not Chinese made OEM parts.

Magnus twisting things around again lol.

Can you tell difference on a OEM or aftermarket zama carb if they are not in a bag or box?
Or cylinders? Covers? Ignitions?
