Entice her with the waterfall ... oh, and maybe some ballet shoes too !! The fairy wore the shoes for a few photos. If we had more time, would have taken some with her hair up too.

That is the best avenue photo I can remember seeing.

This is another nice Mario Avenue picture. Stig and the boys and Jerry.

This is another nice Mario Avenue picture. Stig and the boys and Jerry.

That's one of my favorites.

In fact, I just added it to my exploring / guide info page yesterday > LINK > http://www.mdvaden.com/redwood_tours.shtml

According to the rules, I can't guide without a permit, so I noted that on the page. Plus I added some photos of others whom I have casually enjoyed the redwoods with, like you folks, Taylor, or Atkins, to de-commercialized the feel of the page.

But I think most readers get the drift of the page

:)

That was a fine day:)

Actually, days like that I never forget. I still think of you folks now every time I pass or go into that grove.

Here's a shot from this last weekend, in Prairie Creek. The Drury giant amidst bigleaf maple in autumn.

There were several memorable photos from that day.

Another with a couple of the "boys" on the Avenue of the Giants.

Sweet! The hits just keep coming. Thanks, Mario!

That's for sure ..

Because I'm reading your new Navarro redwood book right now and getting a double whammy of wonderful redwood photos.

Your story and photos sold me on getting down there next year.

I can't rush through this one. Great insight.

One more of the fairy photos from Redwood National. It was out of focus, but I like the dreamy look of the light.

I like the light, too:)

I showed your "Avenue of the giants" photo to the guys who were with me on that trip.
They all felt that you captured the feel of the avenue just right.

I have put trips together for fellow loggers going to Cali for years.
Right now I'm working on a trip for a class of forester students next year.
If you don't mind, I'll use both the avenue picture and the one Terri posted in the promo material that I'll make to get them to choose California.

They always make a study trip to somewhere.
Since one of the guys in that class works for me, when he is not going to school, I suggested California.
Where else can you see the largest, tallest and oldest trees of the world in one trip.
