This is a live feed to an Eagles nest 70' up a cottonwood tree in Iowa.
I've been following this pair and their chicks since the beginning.

I'm noticing dad Baldy lurking around the nest and keeping a close eye on the kids....

I believe they're about to leave the nest.

If anyone cares to watch and follow, here's the link to the live feed cam.

Pretty cool. We have several nests around town here now, baldies have come a long way. I'd be curious as to how they set up the camera, the adults are very protective and have the capability of doing some real damage. Maybe at night? I had to remove a limb from an active osprey nest on a transmission tower in the middle of Apalachicola Bay a few years back. The limb got across the middle phase and the steel and locked the breaker out (69,000v), but amazingly didn't fry the birds. The adults tried their best to deter me though as I got close, diving and screeching. I believe they would have raked me a couple of times if I hadn't ducked behind the steel. I imagine eagles would be even worse.

Here's a related link from the same site. A pair of baby hummingbirds, in California, I think it is. Mom comes around to feed them once in awhile. In high definition. The babies stick their skinny little tongues out fairly often, and once in awhile you can see them practicing at flapping their wings really, really fast. Just too cool.

The high definition aspect makes me want to output the video to my big screen high definition TV.
