Finishing up the loft, I'm so excited about this because it means we can start to empty his stiff outta the shop!

I can see the floor in the shop! This little gem stays, little work to do to it but in pretty good condition!

Some progression of the shop, should have him all moved out this week. Need to bleach the floor, found dead rats and nests and such in there. Trying not to bring much stuff home yet as I don't want to have to keep moving it.

The saw shop bay. This will have the metal lathe and a wood lathe in it as well as my chain making area.

2 coats of kilz on the work bench, looking nicer.

The main 2 bays.
Installed a wood stove and brought home my pesticides and such to keep them from freezing. All in the yellow boxes and the red box underneath. Had to bring my tool box home as well, was worried about it getting stolen like my other gear did.

Cool, Willie.

Can't tell if there's a blower on that stove. If not, and you haven't thought of it already, a box fan does wonders in its place.

looking good willey ,yea you need a place to fix stuff.Makes things go easier when
every thing has its place.

Yep, there's a green blower on the wall behind the stove, it can move some air!
I've hated not having a shop the last 6 months or so and not having a big shop for a year and a half!

That lathe most likely is an Atlas which Sears sold under their brand name .Good machine.

For a bucket truck you need around 12 feet of clearance .A little more might be nice .

Unless to plan on doing extensive work I wouldn't be concerned about over head tramrail cranes/lifts .It take a pretty robust steel framework structure to do .For that matter half the battle is just getting out of nasty weather and for that an open sided shed would work about as well .

Looks great Willie - makes me more determined to move somewhere I can build a decent shop
I don't know what you guys do over there, seems most really cram in somewhere small?

I'm thinking I'll pour a 25x35 slab in front for the big trucks. Nice to read you Al!
Looks very promising, Willie. Like your grinder too.
That is his grinder but it's a good one. I may need to replace the switch on it soon, kinda intermittent.

Nice Willie. My shop is one of my most favourite places in the world for me. You've got the stove, but I didn't see the stereo or the most important........Beer fridge!

Yeah, both missing at the moment. I had a mini fridge but I'll need a full size one now, place to keep my salmon eggs and jerky and such!
