A while back Dave McNeil (Username: dMC) loaned me some items for me to experiment with. When I was done with them Dave's intentions were for me to auction them off with all proceeds going to support the TreeHouse.

The items are:

Rock Exotica Unicender
-It is heavily worn and in need of a rebuild sooner than later. A rebuild costs $130 through Rock Exotica. This unit has one of Daves modified shoulder bolts installed that definitely makes tending slack more intuitive and easier.
MSRP: $299

Petzl Ascension
-This is a modified right handed ascender with moderate wear. There is a nice layer of black tape increasing the palm swell of the grip. It also has cmi pulley installed in one of the lower holes. This is PERFECT for a rads setup and has been featured in tons of Daves posts.
MSRP: $75

ART Lock Jack Sport
-This is a used item with moderate normal wear. It comes with an additional, brand new, cam. It is the original model and is non-anodized. It is not a swivel model.
MSRP: $342 + $33 for the cam

RopeWrench ZK2
-This is basically a brand new ZK2. It has no noticibale wear to speak of. I will include a crude whipple-like tether I made. Its not a great tether but it will do for someone with nothing.
MSRP: $125 + $1,000,000 for the tether, which really is priceless because I made it and its one of a kind.

(Donated by MerleNelson!)
This is a like new standard WireCore flipline. US Rigging Supply probly makes 80-90% of the wire core fliplines out there. It is the all orange one you are familiar with.

Nice Dave, and Nick!
I'll donate an autographed picture of my ice-water-circulating, edema-reducing, cooling system that's been attached to my right shoulder for almost a week now, post-op...
...autograph is a bit sketchy, y'know,... left-hand and all that...

actually, once I get out a bit I'll check the gear bags... must be something good to auction

I hope it doesnt come down to that! I think the spirit of it was to raise money for a this thing that we all love so much and at the same time give people an opportunity to get some new stuff.

I know that the TreeHouse has made things possible for me that never would have happened.

All the credit goes to Dave!

No, it doesn't. Take some credit, Nick. If it wasn't for you all this stuff would still be sitting on the bottom of my bag.

Just a heads up on the Lockjack. Nick posted it as having "moderate wear", but I would classify it as "heavy wear". It needs a full rebuild. It probably can be used as is with the new clutch just to see if it is something you would want to pursue. But a rebuild should be done before full use.

Butch, you have a good site here. I take away a lot more than I give. So thanks for all the work it takes to keep the site up and running.

David
