    Clean oil is not necessarily good oil. Yeah?
    Is this not a reasonable place to park?

    The additive package in the oil could be worn out, the PH off, etc.

    Never been a fan of extended oil changes myself, even if it looks fine.
    Is this not a reasonable place to park?

    You can submit your oil for testing. A big hydraulic tank holds enough to merit testing, perhaps.
