    The additive package in the oil could be worn out, the PH off, etc.

    Never been a fan of extended oil changes myself, even if it looks fine.

    You can submit your oil for testing. A big hydraulic tank holds enough to merit testing, perhaps.

    I have and need to install a bunch of these, still need to put 3 on my crane.....

    Too freaking busy !

    FWIW my shit uses oil so I don't worry about the additive package being deported

    I won't be looking to drastically increase oil change intervals just get the smaller particles out of the oil during it's functional use. They tell pretty compelling stories about bypass filter benifits on youtube vids.
