These are a brilliant idea! I've never heard of anything like it before, probably because I live in England.
However, when it gets to 30 degrees it's a huge shock to the system and we really struggle.
I'd be interested to know if there is one on the market that is effective for around 3 hours.

Did you get the one with the back pack or one of the cooler ones?

Do you have to keep it connected to the cooler/backpack continuously or just to recharge it?

I hope it works for you, looking forward to the review..

30 degrees celsius? have you tried a camelback full of ice with just a little water? I think it would help a bit and would probably last 3 hours at that temp.
The trouble with racial stereotypes is they're often true.
It's all well and good taking people as you find them, and being all "one people" and all that stuff. But if you don't lock your gear up when there's gypsies about, it'll get nicked.

The camelbak doesn't cool you at all other than from drinking.

I bought the backpack model, of course. Can't wait til it gets here - I'm really curious about this sucker. I sure hope I don't need to repack it and get a refund

Use it for a few weeks to see before you make a judgment, they say they will take it back after a month.....

I'm sure it will be too worn to send back if I did that. Treework, especially climbing, is gonna be rough on this thing. I'm gonna have to decide right off the bat if this thing is gonna work or not.

So as I understand the backpack holds the water and moves it through the vest?

Is there a battery? Plug in rechargeable?
