The Official Random Video Thread!

They hold this religious festival just up the road from me, every seven years, and a big deal for the natives. For a week they do crazy dangerous stuff with logs that have received some special blessing. Going on now, but I haven't heard of anyone yet dying this time, just one guy currently in a coma. Nuts, I tell ya. Mostly they're all drunk can help explain it.

It's the other side of the Pacific, that's how you explain it. The fellow that was in a coma, I heard on the news today that he died. They probably consider it a good year, since the festival is over and apparently only the one fatality. The previous time there were three.

As idiotic reckless as it seems, I wouldn't take it too seriously, I mean unless you are one of the people getting rolled over by a four or five ton log. It needs remembering that the event takes place every seven years, and within a very controlled society. People want to cut it loose and have God watching as an excuse. The vast majority go home unscathed, but there will be losses. Also, it gives them something to talk about for the next six years.
