Cool vid. Richard Is a stud to be up so early and excited about it. You probably will have to wrestle him for driving privileges in a few more years. By the time he's 12 you'll be out of the cab altogether. :)

What amount of seed does the internal hopper hold? And how fast were you filling it under those conditions in the video?

I told him he could drive tomorrow, for a bit anyway.

The tank hold 240 bushels.

We were traveling at about 3.5 miles per hour, and it took probably 35 minutes or so to fill it.

Not a very good crop, but better than nothing. It should get better as we go.

Wow that was cool. Those whale sounds, snorting and such, awe inspiring.
 
Not in favor of the bullfighting aspect...but damn that is a beautiful show of a powerfully built, nimble, and highly trained horse.

How do you suppose that horse could do in team roping, Squish? Keep the steer in a straight line, I'll bet :).

Thanks for the info Jim. I didn't know that any combines held material in and of themselves. I have only ever seen a truck or trailer paralleling them and the combine loading that.
 
Never knew that building the Brooklyn Bridge had guys working under water in a chamber. Horrible working conditions, apparently.
