Harold Godwinson, who Slaughtered the Danes and ended the Danelaw in England at the Battle of Stamford Bridge, then marched south the face the Normans, and took an arrow in the eye at Hastings.

There were many weird ways for kings to die.
One of ours, Christian V, got gored by a stag, he was trying to stick with his Hirschfänger after having run it to the ground with horses and dogs.
Another, Frederik VIII, died in a horehouse in Hamburg, trying to ride a German lass to the ground.
And then, of course, there was Swedisk Karl XII, who was shot by a silver bullet.

What would imperess me would be half as many arrows shot, but with a real killing bow.
