I've been on that train, pretty cool. Cold as fuh up there even though it's blazing sun and in the 80's back in the valley
 
I hope all our tree work folk see stumper vid posted here instead of in the tree vid section.

One thing the vid didn't say afaik is if the machine was damaged. Maybe some electrical issues, it is remote controlled after all, but otherwise probably minimal damage I would guess.
 
Went to the swiss alps and italy a few years ago, first time ever to europe, fun trip. Swam in the Mediterranean and hiked in the mountains.
 
Cool rigging to recover the stumper. The unit was still on (?) when the diver found it underwater...I assume that was a remote control red light flashing?

For sure. I think those sell for about $80k.

From a film maker's standpoint, it was nice to see the whole thing disappear quickly, deep sixed to Davey Jone's locker, none of this 'Oh it fell partially into the hole but we got a rope on in it and pulled it out before complete disaster.' :/:
