Timber Framing

Oh, sure. A regular joe would be quite happy with a nice car port for his toys.

The old retired guy wants a custom hand built timber frame castle for his stuff. And a little timber frame servants quarters for the parking attendant.

Looks fantastic! Board n battin or more conventional to close it in? Place has a real nice view already with leaves off it must be spectacular!

The roof stops so short overhanging the walls. I don't necessarily mean that as a criticism, but I think compared to what you normally expect to see.

It does look a little tight, but not unlike mist barns I see around here. It's a steep roof, so it looks shorter than if it was an 8 or a 9 pitch. I might go longer on the next one.

I'll get some more after the wedding. I built a bar top for my workbench, the one we used in my garage. The caterers had the place packed with glassware, so I took a quick shot of it and got the hell out of there before I got wrangled into something.
