    Default HRC

How do you "fix" the ends of an HRC split tail? It won't melt, and tape alone doesn't seem to hold the core and sheath tightly/solidly??

I've been playing around with HRC and a knut and it seems like a great combo so far.

Whip it. I just leave long tails on it.

    Yeah, that's a good idea.

    Do you use HRC?

How long does it last for you?

    What hitch do you use?

    Thanks for the info!

If your not itching for the $, keep a hold on it. I'll take it one of these days.

I think I remember you saying you've had it years so I don't think that'll be a big deal.

Whipping is the best choice, IMO. But some people are put off by it. Alterntively, you could soak the last inch in paint, super glue, varnish, dip it, nail polish, or anything of the sort.

I would tape loosely, cut clean, soak, dry, the
remove tape...that is- assuming I didnt want to whip it.
