Tree felling vids

Strange here as well. When I click the link it takes me to a photo of Paul Didier. Playing soccer with his son after recently relocating to the UK from Barbados.

Felled this one today. Major back leaner, the stem was actually inside an outbuilding so I cut it at roof height. Pulled it over with two tractors, one set against the side lean and wind, and one straight out in the lay.

Just a quick clip of my Grey pine removal

Good choice of music.

Ha! I agree...cool music. Just the dramatic music makes me want to see the rest.

I would love to hear some of the chatter from the Sena's in the background sometimes...subdued maybe, almost subliminal below the music...not a clue how to do that.

Get on it.

Here is an example...radio chatter in the background of the music here...synergizes with the thrust of the music:

What do you think of this one? This was my second boss I worked for in 2003, he taught me a little bit of climbing.... Then I moved on. He was a good bloke, but a little rough. Reg, was this that same site you used the city crane to remove one in the back with Andy?

Hey Peter: Nice fall. Say... How'd you keep the butt of that pig up in the air like that? Did you tie off the butt?

No, although the stem had a heavy back lean, the tree had compensated by developing huge scaffold limbs on the front. I sniped the stump to make sure it slid off the right way, and it just sat on the scaffold limbs. Quite handy really, my main concern was the butt hitting the building that someone had helpfully built right round the stem.

I know... I think you included the part about the building in your first post. Gutsy move, but it seems like you know what's what. Well done. Big tree.

Here you go Jed... My Echo was in the tree two over and I had the 200T..

Thanks Gary... They were not much more than 24" DBH. Mine was about 100 feet, Mike's a tad shorter. Topped all 3 around the 75-80 mark.
Wind kept messing with the tops and the limbs. Not a real hard wind, but with that height, it makes things travel a bit..
Here is part 2.. Mikes second tree. We did three here on this property and then fell 4 more at the neighbours. I did not get any of the felling on cam for that part of the day. We were just movin and groovin.
