    Hang Gliding!

Not bragging (warning, here comes bragging) but guess who has the longest HG flight of 2023 in North America? Lol Only 171 straight line miles. More a reflection of the poor flying conditions this yr than my good flying. https://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/3269975

PPG rocks. I just don't have the time and am pretty addicted to my HG. I guess you fly with Britton?

I have a buddy who is a tandem pilot. Before every flight, they ask the passenger their weight. He said in every case guys lie about their weight far more than women.

That video clocked 1 million in less than 24hrs. Proof of not using a checklist. I don't want to speculate on the reasons behind the passenger's super human grip but a look at his website gives a pretty good idea https://chrisgurskyphotography.zenfolio.com/p721644240

I just saw this. Guess I was too busy flaming folks in the Piggy thread. Way cool. I would love to fly there. That is the same wing I fly. Also the same wing and harness I fly in the attached video but this guy is an absolute animal. <iframe width="560" height="315"...

Just a note that I haven't quit yet. Last month I finished 12th out of 45 pilots at a national competition. I'm the first pilot in the following insta link https://www.instagram.com/p/Bnl8zkKhteU/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igshid=1690esx17c9xv Flying ninja lol!

It is definitely an activity I approach with an attitude of responsible irresponsibility. Basically, an attitude of, "I am going to do something that isn't very smart but I'm going to do it as smart as I possibly can."

Dune buggies, drug dealing, and kidnapping are probably great hobbies there. Tree work, not so much. Nothing too unusual about full face helmets. The chin guard is no longer than on a motocross helmet. It is more open above the eyes than a motocross helmet and that may be what is giving...

Nate ;-) They are great. My girl is already 5.5 yrs old! Starting kindergarten in a few weeks. My boy is already 3.5 yrs old. He is in a full leg walking cast from being, well, a boy. I can honestly say that compared to traveling the world climbing trees or flying hundreds of miles jumping...

It is truly the adventure of living a dream. Jumping from cloud to cloud, watching the world go by. It is larger than life. I've been doing it since 2007. I will likely quit. Mainly the appetite gets bigger and bigger until a day of getting to 8000ft and ONLY flying 10 miles seems like a...

As far as dangerous, I guess that is all relative. Just like tree climbing, it is relative to decision making, each participant's mileage will vary. For most Americans, yes, it is dangerous. But nowadays, go to a party and just saying you flew in a 4 seater cessna is enough to generate...

    Hang Gliding!

it is pretty wild. It is fun to fly to destination unknown after cloud surfing mile after mile. Just like trees have a life that is unknown to those who don't climb them, the same goes for the sky. It is full of creatures. Sunday, I has at cloud base at 7200ft in 800ft per minute lift, and...

I just trim it to a few highlights because I think it can be rather boring. I figure including too much of the task and strategy at hand is a bit like adding plot to a porn.
