nope, scattered around the edges from bottom to top, less in the lower 1/3rd
compaction wasnt an issue in the yard one in open grass the other in a planter
ive seen a lot of trees in urban and rural landscapes with tip die back lately
2 of my sites have it on their trees
tips die back, loose some needles, weep a little sap (where needles were)
no cankers or insects visible
no root disturbance or irrigation issues
we have a lot of fungus, blight...
