Not really. Welfare is set so you can live on it, barely. Most people want to do better than that. Also being raised commies, we tend to not abuse the system and to look ascance at those who do. If you get caught collecting welfare and working at the same time, you really get ostrasized here...

Sounds like the title of a country and western song! That is one HUGE downside, Nick. But I'm finding out right now, that only seeing each other once a moth sure keeps a relationship fresh. Skype is great for log distance love, too.
