    The MS150 Has Arrived

If somebody's margin is so tight, that bying an expensive brand of chainsaw can make a big difference, they are doing something wrong.

    The MS150 Has Arrived

Best thing we have done when it comes to protecting our ears is buying custom molded plugs. Not cheap, about $200 a pair, but since they are molded after one's ear canal, they firt perfectly, so after a minute one forgets all about them. With a pair of helmet ear muffs on top, the world is...

Bio is mandatory here if one wants to log on state forest land. That is the only reason we use it.

    The MS150 Has Arrived

Some of the cheaper versions of canola oil, have a tandency to harden/gum up. I try to keep Canola oil out of the saws that don't see much use, such as the MS 880 for that reason.

I've never had any problems with that. Americans love to bitch about Stihl saws not oiling well. Never heard that from Europeans.

    The MS150 Has Arrived

It has been on the market here for at least 3 years. I did a chainsaw course for a bunch of woodturners 3 years ago and turned them on to this ( Along with a special price from my dealer). Best thing out there if you can't file free hand IMO.

We keep the canola out of the tophandles, the pole saw and the MS 880. We don't want the tophandles gummed up and the others sit for long periods without use.

Sorry, Mick. I was talking about chain saws. Back in the early days when I ran huskys, I remember those screens. never seen them on Stihls.

Fi, European saws don't usually come with a spark arrester. I have mentioned this before, the only way to start a forest fire in Denmark is to call in a Napalm strike. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Jts9suWIDlU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    The MS150 Has Arrived

Burnham, it is two different saws, for two different applications. Apples and oranges, really. I'd never use the 150 for major work, but on pruning and especially repollardings it has the 200 beat by a good lenght. We recently repollarded a bunch of old linden. I used the 150 and martin used...
