No, i'm pretty sure its powered by the heat in the saw. Thats why they say to keep them in the cab on the way to the job in the winter, pre heat or they wont run.

:lol: Nice, Jeff. I talked to my dealer today and they bought 12 200t's when they heard the 201 were on the way. Still didn't buy a new one. I have 5 in service, should last me some time
