Pleased to see the chipper is back for you to make money with again Nick, and the house's support for him. I do await your post saying it has been resolved as to the warranty and what conversations others have at the expo.
When ready to upgrade my Morbark this thread will linger and be present...
We could all email corprate and include this link. I'm disgruntled just knowing you had any issue with that few hrs and no solution as a courtesy immediatly! After all you did your homework for a piece of machinery to purchase, and chose them wear item or not so new.
Yup I'm mechanically inclined and would be damned if I had to touch it after just making the purchase. Hold them accountable period. I would be complaining to a higher up especially with so few hrs. You must have the patience of Jobe!
Agree about make them as they use to! I have owned mine since 2004 and no bearing issues, even with blowing a j-lag out the side:eek:
Do hope for Nick's sake that all will be resolved quickly with no hard earned cash from his pockets!

45 hrs their issue. Do not pay a dime and expect or accept nothing less. I to would be calling the big office, that's something they best make right, and in a hurry!
All the best on a speedy resolution.
+1 on the bearing house. This should not have happened with a near new chipper though. I would expect Morbark to cover it all and your rental in waiting for the fix. My .02
