Like Stig, I run the 660 with a 36" bar on the stump and limb and buck with the 461 with a 28" bar, on easy ground. Used to be a Husky guy, but have gone strictly to these two Stihl saws. I did find that it really helps to go with the dual port muffler and an aftermarket air cleaner, well worth...- old irish
