The saga continues. I got a call that the kit was in. Went to the saw shop(100 miles) we opened the box. In it were a magneto, a flywheel and no carburetor! So we are sending it back again. Maybe the third time is the charm, or Stihl just adds a part each time. Getting closer though.
If you guys recall I had ordered the kit and it came with only the ignition moduale. My saw shop finally got back to me and said that Stihl said that was a mistake. It should of had a magneto and carb also and are supposedly sending it. Will post if and when it gets here.
Like I said Squish, I ordered the kit a week ago. It came in and I opened the box and all that was in there for $119 was the magneto/moduale! I said what the hell is this? The saw shop is back to the drawing board. The dealers don't even know what is going on with this situation.
It sounds like there are a lot of legitimate differing opinions. I will put it this way for my situation. Paid $600 for a saw that doesn't run as well as it should. Not bad, but it could be better. I don't want to sell it to someone inexperienced that isn't familiar with the situation concerning...
