It sucks. I've had dogs that lived 15 - 18 years......never went to the vet except for routine shots. Then a super smart dog that ends up with cancer at 6.5 years. Sorry for the derail......

I'd love to have a Crow Jay........I think that would be a cool friend. Our dog Isabell.......she had a knot come up on the inside of her leg. It turned out to be cancer. The vet thinks he got it all.......but says we should watch for more masses. She's the smartest dog I've ever...

I'm with Butch........I'd clip his wings. My reasoning is that it will keep him safe. Like you, I don't think he would survive in the wild for long.

Our Parakeets stay in the nesting box for two months after hatching. They come out looking nearly full grown. Fully feathered, just a wee bit smaller than the parents. Your Hank is likely younger than you might think.

Just read the whole thing while munching a sandwich. Very, very cool Jay. The wife and I have parakeets......they hatched three youngsters a few weeks back. That's cool and all......but I'd love to have a crow, they are so much smarter than a parakeet. :lol: The name needs to wait......it...
