    Fiskars Tool Quality?

    My problem is burying the head, but it isn't wide enough to pass the handle so it barks up the handle. I've never missed with my Ochsenkoph light splitter, but I need a new handle, or will soon. It's taking on more than the axe was meant for.

    Those yellow composite handles I mentioned seemed to transmit shock and blisters. The fiskars hollow plastic handles seem alright, but I don't have the hours in that I do with wood. Wood just feels nicer. There's no way I'd trade my wood handle work axe for a fiskars handle.

    I'm pretty brand loyal with Silky. Saws like the Samurai are kind of interesting, but still cost enough money that I wouldn't want to risk it coming up short with the perfection of Silky saws. It isn't worth saving $20-$30 if every time I pull the saw out, I think "Meh...".
