Yup but btw that happened in someone's backyard not in the woods.

Steep ground creates lots of challenge. I live in an area not noted for hills/steepness but of course there are some here and there, it's not flat. A few years ago, a guy working for a well respected local outfit got killed when a large log rolled over him, his last words were 'I messed up'.

Good comments re the tie offs. I usually use a chain on the butt, but the way RC has it, the top etc will stay in place plus the safety redundancy is there.

Interesting multiple tie off points to limit travel after it hits.
