I just got off the phone with the local dealer. He said they don't carry them in Canada because there was little demand for them, as the weight reduction (30%) was not a big enough selling factor. The bars are apparently significantly more expensive. Only in the USA I guess.

I checked in at the local dealer and no dice, squish. They gave me a funny look too. Went thru their list of bars and could not find such an animal. There were lighter bars for the larger saws, but nothing for the top handle, save the carving or pruning bars. Do you have more info about these bars?

Come down to the Penticton Honda Centre, or I can go in and ask on Mon. for ya. The dealer treats me well, and I think they have the bars you're after. And they don't give me the stupid arse safety chain anymore, either.
