Look up Logrite on Youtube. They use a super split on there processor. They show all types of woods. Knotty wood you'll have to wack it a few times sometimes.

I have the mingo, and mark 18". My problem is I make the wood to small, I really need to stop that if I intend to sell.

Logrite made a nice setup for sure. I want to put together a nice mobile table to set next to the splitter so my helper can load it up while I split. Paul surprised me, mine was BO until after Nov. Someone cancelled an order so somehow mine shipped. Woo hoo!

I didn't discriminate on the first batch of wood through it. I threw some knotty knarly pieces. It surely doesn't handle it like a hydro would, but a couple wacks splits them. That pile is mixed woods. Ash, maple, cherry, birch, oak, hickory, and everything in between.

That'll have to do for right now. ;)

Got the splitter today. This thing rocks.

128cufeet squish. That's a cord where we come from. I've thought it, Scott. Will probably do more next year as i need to know how many cords I'll burn myself before I start selling off. Can probably get 85-100/ cord for log length. Less work too.

$200-$285 here. I'd sell on the low end, just to move it. Again, not looking to get into the firewood business, just looking to make a buck on wood I got paid to haul, work on rainy days, and heat my house. Sending the check for the SS tomorrow, still have to pick up my conveyor at some...

LOL! My wood is great. No really, I'm not into chipping big wood. I keep a lot of the smaller stuff, 6" +, even smaller at times. Nice and straight. I've got the bigger wood too, will just handle it differently. I don't want to go big into firewood, I just figure I already gave up a few...

So I should get one of each? SS and TW, both feeding a conveyor! I'd need a conveyor feeding me wood too! I'm looking for a deal on a TW like Willies, that still hurts me. What are they new, 6-10k? (EDIT: Just looked, TW-6 $9,000 base price)

I thought TW but the wood I process is pre-Madonna wood. Perfect size, is all I take home. I figured the super splitter is just so damned fast on that sized wood. Logrite made a "processor" out of a super splitter. Over 2/3 cord and hour, one guy. Pretty impressive IMO.

So I'm picking up a conveyor from the guy I plow for, I need a nice unit to bang out wood to feed said conveyor. I'm going to order a super splitter this week, any objections/suggestions before I pull the trigger? I've got the trailer now, so much wood, some space, and a demand for wood. So...
