Do you apply hydrogen peroxide and or copper solution? I saw a guy do that and then put a thin coat of wax- Treeaddict

Has anyone done this? Chisel or knife? How long for compartmentalization? Can/will the bark grow back over the wound (99% sure it cant) ? Too many questions?- Treeaddict
