How many high shots out of a Big Shot before the rubber needs replacing. Seems useful for really cold conditions where the rubber is soft. Wonder how it shoots a tiny line. I've hit about 175' with halibut line and a reel, with a release.

You're probably not saving with used. Is will cost less, but need replacement rubber sooner. That's the reason to have two, in case one breaks. I keep meaning to buy a back-up set of rubber bands/ pouch.
