    I wonder if there is a good rigging point that is nearly plumb to the chipper feed tray/ dump trailer loading area. Pull the tips back from the chipper a bit when the tips are off the ground, set the piece down, and gravity will lay it down to the chipper. A tag line can help on bigger pieces...

    Your customer has to pay you for wood and chip disposal, even if you don't pay for it, it still takes time, risk, equipment, etc, and is a service provided, and to be compensated for. If they want the chips and firewood rounds as they lay, charge them for dismantling unless its a flopper...
