What's did the rake cost, roughly?

    Grapple for mini

Not that I'm aware of. There used to be a forum discount via Carl/ Lumberjack. Carl and Dave/ TNTree are no longer associated. Rajan/ Flushcut might have the rake, IIRC. I've thought about it, too. Also, power brooms might be a way to cut raking. Been discussed a bit lately. Page, put...

I might buy those next. Good seeing size reference and capacity (gear and employee). Thanks. What kind a bar holders are mounted to the boom?

    Grapple for mini

A small piece of wood in the wrong way, up against an immovable object, might splay the grapple under closing force.

    Grapple for mini

Sounds like a deal. BMGs are $2650 plus shipping-ish. Money very well spent, IMO. If you plant both tines in the dirt and twist slightly, one will remain planted, and the other lifts off the ground. The planted one will be a pivot point. Move the machine forward with a little finesse, and...

You're getting an articulated loader, not mini-loader? I forgot. Which machine? The heel plate is super important for maneuverability. I wonder the cost of fabricating something like a BMG? A number of people have fabbed their own. I imagine shipping cost would kill a BMG.

    Grapple for mini

Mick, it looks like its intended for a larger machine than a mini-loader. Do you know your lift height on your loader? To me, it looks like it doesn't raise the grapple up, like on a BMG, and I think also the Vermeer. The rotator would be nice sometimes, reducing the ground impact by less...

Without a heel-plate, don't you have to pick it up at the balance point?

Page, have you seen the sub 36" giant articulated tele-handlers? Bolt on duals. I would like to have one instead of the mini. its a jump up in price, but a lot more performance IF it fits your market.

What machine are you using? That is part of the problem, possibly. Smaller rental machines have lower lift heights.

    Grapple for mini

The BMG KILLS IT! Its like a micro combination of a dangle grapple skidder (free floating swivel) and logging shovel. I've seen Vermeers in action in Augusts videos. It has a few tricks up its sleeve. Hands down, BMG. I tell people to buy the BMG, and rent a mini with aux hydraulics...
