    429's are notorious for dieseling. Seems the cam timing profile and ecu spark advance have a lot to do with it. Carbon build up can cause it also. Really hard to tune out at times.

    He right Sawinredneck. Many new vehicles use the battery as a voltage buffer. I know a few shade trees that have learned this the expensive way.

    Google WARN 14867 Socket Extension, 2 ft If 2' isn't long enough it should be a easy fix to extend it to what ever works.
