    That actually sounds similar to the story of my instructor. He didn't go into details but said he didn't like the politics of it. I'm getting in over my head in this discussion though because I really don't know much about it.

    Where I'm going no one can become a black belt in less than 6 years. At least that is my understanding. It will take some much longer.

    I passed! It didn't seem very difficult though. There was plenty of time to prepare. The board break was a "step behind side kick"

    I went tonight. I kept my kicks lower and no pain. :thumbup: I don't have trouble with high front kicks. Just side and roundhouse so far.

    The higher I try to go the more it hurts. It doesn't feel like muscle, more like bone.(joint?) I don't think it matters whether it's air or bag at least not like the height does. I'll check with an instructor. Seems they are always busy with something though.

    I started Tang Soo Do 3 weeks ago. There isn't much to choose from in my area. I've been feeling much better already.
