Gave Betsy a ride this afternoon.....she has upgraded to the Starbucks in the grocery store. Free coffee and sandwhich. She was thankful of ride back home in the 90 degree heat. She has officially lost her cell phone...lol

Another side note... I called those tree guys in Minnesota. Turns out no one got in trouble. They did ask the pokiezombies to play a little further from the memorial...that's it. I doubt kids playing games at memorial would be any different. They should show respect as well. Plenty of room in...

My I think the best way to change this trend is to role model it. If I go to a gathering I don't use my phone...except maybe to share or take pictures. When I'm with my kids shopping and such, we open doors for people, take carts from folks who finished with them, address the cashier by the name...

true problem with our society. I make it a point to check out from mine and interact with folks. A casual conversation while waiting in line, whatever. People tend to avoid interaction by staring at their phone.
