    Did it bend the pads on outriggers? We have damaged a few on soft ground. We cut flat spot first....yard damage is easy to fix. I remember one pad cost like 800! Have you two parted your line yet. It doesn't take long to do.....should bump winch cap way up.

    Not Paul's crane but real close......minus one section of boom. Super tight set up on 1/2 outriggers. Not quite enough tip hieght since could not get jib on. Dead oak covered in hypoxylon canker....very brittle . Managed to pull it off without damage.......except for dent in crane....doh! Three...

    Not sure but his is not from uk. Somewhere between 5k-12 I think to rebuild. Picks it up tomorrow He told me yours is very common in uk but not here.

    Pretty sure you reset the computer to how much jib you have on....then roll. Do not fear the jib

    That jib is stout on that crane. Many times it is safe to have extra tip height for balancing sections correctly. We swung jib on similar crane yesterday and pulled tele for three picks. People are gunshy of the jib cause they don't read the chart, or don't want to spend 15 minutes putting it on.

    Are you skeered to swing that jib?.......you can pick more safely with more tip height , then remove when you get to bigger wood. Practice a two part line to soon.....

    Also I forgot to mention. Get a soil probe and put it in the truck. Probe ground if there any doubts. Saved my ass last year as we set over a hidden culvert. Could have been ugly. Helps to locate those mysterious septic tanks to
